Discovery North Bay, 100 Ferguson Street
Since 1973 the former North Bay Area Museum, now Discovery North Bay, has been a local voice of heritage preservation and education for the community.
Constructed in 1903 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, visitors from far and near are delighted by the restoration of North Bay’s unique landmark. As a designated and nationally recognized heritage site, Discovery North Bay is home to exhibit galleries that showcase both local history and traveling shows.
Discovery North Bay is proud to host the camera frontera exhibition for the first time in 2007. The exhibit will be on display in the upper gallery, which overlooks picturesque Lake Nipissing and the future site of the community waterfront park.

KBROS ART SHOPPE, 232 Algonquin Avenue
K Bros Art Shop & Gallery was established in 1969, Downtown on Algonquin
Ave. In 1976 it was purchased by George Maroosis and it continues to operate
as an independant family business. In 2006 it was reorganized as the
Maroosis Art Centre and continues to house K Bros Artist Materials, the
Picture Frame Centre and the Maroosis Art Gallery. The Gallery is divided
into two spaces, one for original art the other for reproductions.
